21st March 2019 was special at Bhoomi Naturals as we inaugurated a new Herbal Processing Plant at Ramachandrapuram, Pudukottai, Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu, India. This plant is set up with the state of art facility that will cater to herbs requirements of both domestic and international markets.
The facility is strategically located very close to the airport and sea port at Tuticorin making it convenient for timely shipments.
Tuticorin (Thoothukudi) is a port city and industrial district of Tamil Nadu state in south India, situated in the Gulf of Mannar about 78 miles North of Cape Comorin. It is one of the major seaports in India with historic importance. Although the traditional industries include salt pans, sea-borne trading, fishing (pearl fishing too, interestingly!), it is a growing hub of herb and spice collectives, with favourable tropical climatic conditions. We also have material movements from other growing areas from across the country.
Over the last 9 years, Bhoomi has been exporting raw herbs and roots to different locations across the world for pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industrial applications. Our new herbs unit has ample space and facilities for all processes – sorting, cutting of raw herbs, roots, drying, warehousing, storage and packaging.
With our new facility for herbs processing, we are now ready to supply herbs in various forms maintaining the best quality tailor made to customer preferred specification.
