There is a demand fall for Pure & Natural Lemongrass oil; it is considerably lesser than the demand as it was around this time last year. We believe, this is because the supply of synthetic citral having improved significantly, so a price correction has occurred for the Pure and natural quality. Farmer groups have fixed the price now at a stable low, to avoid heavy losses for them. There is likelihood for an increase in price in the near future when the rains begin, as production may be halted for a while. However, good volumes are available with us for covering existing demand. it is the right time to buy to cover requirements.
